Ampersand have partnered with a leading property consultancy who are embarking on an exciting period of growth and looking to appoint an experienced Bid Manager to help deliver compelling bids and proposals across their core areas of business.

Well known in their market, this position will have a national remit and report into a Director of the business. The successful candidate will be accountable for end-to-end bid management and the delivery of innovative and dynamic content, ensuring that the very best possible solution is delivered to clients in line with the firms commitments and goals.

You will collaborate with subject matter experts to write technical and design components; prepare all internal and external deliverables; and submit the final bid documents as well as manage and lead a small team. In carrying out the above responsibilities, you will need to proactively prioritise and manage your workload, working collaboratively, efficiently and accurately in a deadline-driven environment.

The ideal candidate will be tertiary qualified in a relevant discipline with at least 5-7 years' bid management experience with a strong focus on writing. Ideally this experience will have been gained within the built environment, such as construction or engineering and you must be comfortable managing multiple RFPs and RFIs at the same time. You will be proficient with MS Office, Canva and have superior communication and negotiation skills, strong stakeholder engagement and project management skills.
