We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Retail Manager to oversee the operations of two stores, Relaxhouse and Huset, located in Cheltenham, Victoria. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of daily store operations, managing inventory, supervising staff, and driving sales performance. This role requires a strong leader with excellent organizational and communication skills, capable of managing both in-store and e-commerce activities.

Key Responsibilities:

· Oversee daily store operations and ensure smooth functioning.

· Manage inventory levels and coordinate restocking.

· Hire, train, and supervise in-store staff.

· Schedule employee shifts.

· Work with your team to handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns.

· Ensure the store layout is visually appealing and on-brand.

· Maintain store cleanliness and safety standards.

· Monitor cash registers and handle financial transactions.

· Conduct regular stock audits.

· Implement promotions and in-store marketing campaigns.

· Analyze sales data to identify trends and adjust strategies.

· Liaise with suppliers for timely product deliveries.

· Enforce company policies and procedures.

· Train staff on product knowledge and upselling techniques.

· Organize seasonal displays and events.

· Resolve escalated customer or staff conflicts.

· Monitor competitor activity in the local market.

· Oversee store opening and closing procedures.

· Report sales and inventory metrics'

· Develop and maintain emergency protocols (e.g., fire drills, theft response).

· Conduct performance reviews and provide staff feedback for growth.

· Review competition in the local market to adjust in-store offerings.

E-commerce Management:

· Manage online product listings (descriptions, images).

· Process and track online orders and returns.

· Work with marketing to implement digital marketing campaigns (email, social media, ads).

· Analyze e-commerce sales data and customer behavior.

· Manage online customer service (chat, email, reviews).

· Monitor online competitors and adjust pricing or strategy.

· Manage online promotions.

· Coordinate with graphic designers for digital assets.

· Oversee multi-channel selling marketplaces.

· Coordinate with influencers or content creators for brand promotion.

· Monitor and respond to online reputation (e.g., Google reviews, social mentions).

· Plan and execute seasonal or flash sales for online channels.

· Keep on trends items to ensure online stock aligns with market demand.

Procurement and Product Development:

· Manage local procurement tasks to source products from nearby suppliers.

· Send purchase orders to suppliers for inventory replenishment.

· Create new ranges of products to refresh store and online offerings.

· Evaluate supplier performance to ensure quality and reliability.

Marketing Responsibilities:

· Distribute in-store signage or digital content for branding.

· Analyze customer demographics to tailor marketing efforts.

· Collaborate with corporate marketing teams on brand campaigns.

Team Management:

· Lead and manage two small teams, one for each store.

· Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

· Provide guidance and support to team members to achieve store goals.
