A Queensland-based development team are on the look out for a Front-End Developer with GIS expertise to enhance and modernise a large-scale operational system used in complex environments.

The Role:

As a Front-End Developer, you'll focus on improving front-end designs, developing interactive GIS layers, and refining mobile interfaces for operators and maintenance teams. Working in a collaborative team of experienced developers, you'll contribute to a large, long-standing single-page application (SPA) built with .NET Core, Angular, and JavaScript.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Design & enhance UI/UX for operational & GIS applications.
✅ Develop responsive front-end interfaces using CSS, Bootstrap, and Angular.
✅ Integrate Mapbox GIS layers into mobile & desktop applications.
✅ Collaborate with SMEs to develop semi-automated decision workflows.
✅ Conduct user research, prototyping, testing & quality assurance.
✅ Maintain & update GIS layers, UI elements, and interactive maps.

What You'll Bring:

🔹 Previous experience 6+ years of experience working in a Front-End Developer role

🔹 Strong experience in UI/UX design & GIS development.

🔹 Proficiency in .NET Core, JavaScript, C#, TypeScript & Angular.

🔹 Familiarity with Mapbox or similar GIS tools.

🔹 Experience working with Azure DevOps & GitHub repositories.

🔹 Strong stakeholder engagement skills & ability to present designs to users.
