This much needed organisation is a not-for-profit whose focus and mission is to deliver gender specific services to women in the ACT and surrounds. Operating since 1982, they have supported and advocated for women who are impacted by domestic violence, homelessness, substance dependency. They are driven to create better life outcomes and community change.

Now they need you to help provide their much needed services through therapy services to women with complex needs, and/or their children in care.

This is an Identified role where you will be working closely with women who may have experienced past or present traumas such as; impact of their own or others drug and/or alcohol use; mental health issues; domestic, family or sexual violence; homelessness. You are providing care to clients via their outreach process, whilst in or exiting the ACT correctional systems. This includes ongoing support after returning to home.

You will be managing a caseload of women, and their families in some cases, and your role will include planning, conducting, and evaluating appropriate therapeutic groups or sessions. You will be required to provide support to Toora sites and other locations including the correction centres.

This role is offered on a permanent basis and is an Identified position. You must hold or obtain a WWVP registration and National Police Check. You will also require a minimum ACA regsitrsiton.
