We are looking for an experienced Registered Tax Agent to review and manage all types of tax returns, ensure compliance with ATO and TPB guidelines, and provide expert tax advice to a diverse client base. This role involves working face-to-face and online with clients, preparing financial statements, BASs, and audits, and collaborating with the Victorian Auditor General’s Office (VAGO). If you have 3+ years of experience, a Tax Agent Licence, and expertise in MYOB, Xero, and QuickBooks, we want to hear from you! Immediate start available. Key Responsibilities:

Review all types of tax returns online before lodgements.

Ensure all supporting communications and documents are received from clients.

Comply with ATO and Tax Practitioners Board guidelines.

Focus on delivering the best tax outcomes for clients while ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Respond promptly and professionally to internal and client correspondence.

Prepare and review tax returns, financial statements, and compliance documents for individuals, businesses, and trusts.

Provide strategic tax advice and planning for clients.

Liaise with the ATO and other regulatory bodies on behalf of clients.

Identify tax-saving opportunities and risk management strategies.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax legislation and implement best practices.

Work closely with clients both face-to-face and online to understand their financial goals and provide tailored solutions.

Audit & Financial Statements: Support the preparation of annual financial statements, provide essential documentation for external audits, and collaborate with the Victorian Auditor General's Office (VAGO).

Qualifications & Experience:

Registered Tax Agent Licence (Essential).

Minimum 3+ years’ experience reviewing all types of tax returns.

Completed Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, Economics, Finance, or equivalent.

CA/CPA qualified.

Highly skilled in preparing financial accounts, income tax returns, and BASs for individuals, discretionary trusts, unit trusts, hybrid trusts, companies, and partnerships (often as they relate to family groups).

Experience with MYOB, Xero, and QuickBooks.

SMSF taxation/business services experience is beneficial but not essential.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong analytical skills and keen attention to detail.

Ability to work in a client-facing team environment and drive individual development.

Strong personal initiative and willingness to take responsibility for their own work.

Must be available immediately.
