We have a newly created opportunity with one of our SME Brokers, this role has come about due to growth this year and the enormous amount of new business coming in and needing attention. This is a great opportunity to grow your own book, and would also suit a Senior Assistant looking to make that next step.

This full time role can also be 100% remote from home!

Our Broker client is a well-known and respected Insurance Brokerage in Australia, providing insurance solutions to their many loyal customers over many years. Over the last 6-12 months, they've been able to add some head count to the business, whilst they still remain relatively small, the business will continue to grow over the coming months and year.

The Role

Our client is seeking to recruit an experienced Account Executive OR Senior Assistant to take a chunk of incoming work and establish a solid book of business. Your portfolio will consist of some mid sized clients, but they also very much value their smaller clients.

The team are professional and high performing. They also like to have some fun and celebrate the wins, and even though they work remotely they still get together often for catch ups.

Some other components of this role include:

Management of a portfolio through all stages of the Broking process, with support from the broking team of Account Executives and Assistant Account Executives.

Confidently manage & respond to queries from clients and underwriters – via both phone & email. This may include complex problem-solving.

Develop strong and effective working relationships with strata managers and underwriters to support business retention and growth in accordance with branch goals and objectives.

Highlight and escalate any significant issues of concern affecting service delivery.
