Bluefin Resources is partnering exclusively with a Global company who manufactures and distributes power tools for professional forestry and agriculture, landscape maintenance, the construction sector, and private garden owners. This market leader manufactures in seven countries around the world – Germany, USA, Brazil, Switzerland, Austria, China and the Philippines.
The Role:
This role is ideal for someone who’s confident in 3D retail design and VM, loves working on store layouts, and enjoys bringing retail spaces to life. A VM background would compliment the existing team.
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract based in Knoxfield, reporting into the Retail Development Manager. This Role sits within the Retail Experience team and focuses on retail design, store layouts, and visual merchandising for the dealer network. It’s a mix of 3D design work and hands-on VM with some interstate travel (Sydney & regional NSW – up to twice a month initially which will lessen once settled into the role).
Day-to-Day:
- Designing and implementing store layouts, product displays, and visual merchandising strategies.
- New and existing store fit-outs – working with the Retail Development team to meet company brand and dealer requirements.
- Category planning – advising on stock range and mix to maximise sales and store performance.
- Working closely with sales, marketing, and business development teams to ensure a consistent in-store experience.
Ideal candidate:
- Retail design, VM, or industrial design background.
- Strong 3D design skills – experience with CAD, SketchUp, P-Con planner, Adobe Suite.
- Comfortable working on-screen (designing layouts, planograms, and store fit-outs) and in-store (working with customers and franchisees).
- A good grasp of the customer journey and how to create an engaging in-store experience.
- Some experience with category planning, stock range selection, and space management would be ideal.
- Strong communication skills – working with suppliers, sales teams, and franchise owners.
- Someone who’s assertive, confident, and proactive – able to take ownership and run with things.
- No strict industry experience required, but familiarity with Industrial / Construction sector would be beneficial.
- Digital portfolio would be handy to look at
- Full Australian working rights.
