The Opportunity:
Due to internal movements, they are looking for an experienced Team Leader to join the business. You will manage a team of 12 Advisors whose purpose is to assist customers across Australia with a range of issues including financial hardship, domestic violence, and more.
This role will ensure that the right people, processes, and systems are in place to provide best-in-class customer service to customers experiencing financial difficulty. It will also work with key internal and external stakeholders to provide feedback and ensure improvements are made with the aim of providing the best support to customers. The nature of the role will also require travel domestically to attend conferences and present findings accordingly.
In addition, you will work closely alongside the Customer Support Manager to provide support and ensure everything is running smoothly.
About you:
This is a unique role in an ever-changing environment so you will be naturally resilient, adapt well to change but also be people-focused.
- Previous leadership experience is essential with proven experience coaching and performance management
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience in a hardships leadership role highly regarded
- Customer-obsessed and go out of your way to assist
- Experience presenting to large audiences
- Passionate about helping those most in need
- Have an analytical mind and can make quick decisions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential
- A strong team player who likes to add value where they work
- Resilient and pick up systems & processes quickly
