About the role

As a Barista at GINGER FOX CAFE', you will be responsible for creating high-quality coffee beverages and providing exceptional customer service in a vibrant café environment. This full-time position is based in Beaumaris, Victoria, and you will be a key member of the hospitality team, contributing to the overall success of the café.

What you'll be doing

Preparing and serving a variety of coffee drinks such as espresso, cappuccino, latte, and mocha to customers

Operating and maintaining espresso machines and other coffee equipment to ensure optimal performance

Providing friendly and knowledgeable customer service, answering questions about the menu and making recommendations

Maintaining a clean and organised workspace, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards

Assisting with other café duties as required, such as ordering, stocking shelves, and cash handling

What we're looking for

At least 1 year of experience as a Barista or in a similar role within the hospitality industry

Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and the ability to produce consistently excellent drinks

Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive, and professional demeanor

Good attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

A passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to providing a great customer experience
