About the Team The Marketing and Communication Unit (MCU) is at the forefront of building the UTS brand, driving our mission to be the leading university of technology. We develop strategies and relationships to elevate the UTS brand, ensuring it achieves its desired prominence in the marketplace. Our team is responsible for promoting and enhancing the university's image and reputation through comprehensive marketing plans, media and public relations activities, internal communication and corporate identity strategy. MCU has internal and external clients and delivers services that support and promote the overall strategic development of the university. Our unit is comprised of five dynamic areas: Strategic Communication; Market Research and Insights, Brand Strategy and Digital Marketing, Marketing and Communication Partnerships and Digital Presence Centre. This role is based within the Brand Strategy and Digital Marketing team About the Role In this role, you'll work closely with the MCU Senior Leaders, Marketing and Communication Managers and senior clients across UTS. You'll be responsible for developing and optimising marketing technology and audience experience strategies and programs. If successful in applying for this role, you'll be responsible for the following: • Managing marketing technology projects and platforms, including Salesforce, digital presence, and new technologies, to drive innovation and adoption.• Engaging with stakeholders to align strategies and implement Martech optimisations.• Developing workflows and strategies to enhance digital engagement and audience satisfaction.• Implementing customer engagement strategies, building KPIs, and reporting on marketing automation progress.• Overseeing audience data collection, ensuring compliance, and implementing data cleansing.• Leading and mentoring team members, developing training resources, and upskilling marketing users on Salesforce CRM and Martech tools. With examples, please outline within your Cover Letter, how you meet the following key selection criteria: 1. Demonstrated experience in platform management and optimisation, including overseeing the configuration, integration, and performance of key marketing platforms, including CRM, CMS, email marketing, analytics, and automation tools. (experience with Salesforce and Google Analytics highly desirable)2. Demonstrated experience in successful marketing automation, communication, and user experience practice.3. Ability to conduct a variety of research activities to evaluate competitors, audience expectations, and brand perception with view to informing future marketing actions.4. Proven management skills, including the ability to lead projects to meet competing deadlines and maximise results from marketing resources. A strong understanding of Agile methodologies, with experience working in cross-functional teams will be highly regarded. Remuneration & Benefits Base Salary Range: $119,041 to $135,575 pa (HEW 8) This role attracts 17% superannuation (pension) in addition to the base salary.
