Take ownership of end-to-end logistics, inventory and procurement in a fast-paced FMCG environment!

Are you a proactive and hands-on leader ready to take the reins of logistics and procurement in a high-energy, dynamic, and growing FMCG business? Based in Western Sydney, our client is a well-established player in the industry, known for their innovation, high-quality products, and strong market presence. They have received multiple industry awards in their sector and are now seeking a Logistics & Procurement Manager to drive operational excellence, re-negotiate supplier agreements, and support continued growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee end-to-end logistics, including warehousing (3PL), transport, and distribution.

Negotiate new partnership agreements and re-negotiate existing ones with current and prospective 3PL, transport, and distribution service providers.

Lead procurement activities across raw materials, packaging, and indirect spend.

Manage supplier relationships and negotiate current and new contracts to deliver long-term commercial value.

Develop and implement cost-effective supply chain strategies, including offshoring options.

Monitor inventory levels and ensure accuracy through regular reporting and analysis.

Ensure inventory within the factory and the warehouse (3PL partner) moves seamlessly.

Collaborate cross-functionally with production, sales, and finance teams to drive growth and profitability.

Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

Lead and mentor the team, driving continuous improvement and operational efficiency.

About You:

5+ years’ experience in logistics and procurement within FMCG or a similar fast-paced environment – a background in the FMCG manufacturing industry is a bonus.

Strong negotiation, planning, and organisational skills.

Hands-on approach with the ability to manage both strategic and operational responsibilities.

Proven track record in managing supplier performance and cost optimisation.

Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field preferred.
