My client is a highly profitable multinational business that is people and customer centric with a clear strategy for growth. This is an exciting time to join and they are currently looking for a Payroll Specialist to join the Payroll team and manage the payroll across multiple businesses in Australia and New Zealand.

Duties will include:

• Fortnightly payroll processing for all Australian and New Zealand payrolls (1,000+ employee's), including payroll variations, employee changes and commission payments
• Remaining up to date on all payroll legislative including, PAYG, Payroll Tax, Superannuation and STP
• Superannuation and Payroll Tax calculations and calculation of complex termination payments
• Fortnightly, monthly, and ad hoc reporting and month end processing including reconciliations
• Identification and implementation of process improvements across the end-to-end payroll function
• Escalation point for the broader team to assist in resolving complex payroll queries
• Knowledge of ATO legislation related to payroll
• Assisting the Head of Payroll with a new payroll software roll out.

To be considered you will have a minimum of four year’s experience processing end to end payroll - experience using Preceda Payroll will be highly regarded (not essential). You will have proven experience in award Interpretation, state-based LSL and payroll tax calculations and have a collaborative and driven approach. This is a full time, office based role in central Sydney CBD close to trains and buses which offers great benefits and leadership potential.
