In this role, you’ll still provide excellent chairside support, but also take ownership of the clinical space, help train and mentor junior assistants, improve workflows, and play a key role in enhancing the overall patient experience.

🦷 What You'll Be Doing

This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll be both assisting chairside and helping lift the clinical team around you. You’ll:

Be the trusted right hand to your dentist, anticipating needs and managing instruments and materials

Lead and support junior assistants through training, guidance, and mentoring

Streamline clinical systems to improve efficiency, consistency, and patient outcomes

Manage stock and inventory across the practice, ensuring supplies are always ready and well maintained

Help improve the patient experience by ensuring the clinical space is calm, organised, and welcoming

Work closely with the front office team to ensure smooth patient flow and timely handovers

You’re experienced, reliable, and take pride in doing things properly. You love mentoring others and improving the way things work. You’re calm under pressure, have strong people skills, and want to be part of a clinic that values and supports your growth.

5+ years' experience in dental assisting (senior or leadership experience highly regarded)

A natural organiser who takes initiative and ownership

Strong communicator and team player

Comfortable training others and helping improve systems
