Your Key Responsibilities:
- Planning, conducting, leading and reporting on complex audits pertaining to liquor and gaming organisations and stakeholders.
- Undertaking quality assurance of the reports and working papers of audit staff and lead the training and development of staff to ensure the continued efficiency and effectiveness of the unit.
- Providing quality advice, reports to the manager in all aspects of audit operations, including contributing to the development of the annual audit plan and continual improvement of processes and techniques in auditing.
- Identifying trends and issues and recommending solutions including enforcement strategies, policies and operational processes.
- Utilising research and analytical skills to identify key risks and the effectiveness of associated controls relevant to major liquor and gaming operations.
- Engaging with high level stakeholders including members of the liquor and gaming industries, and interstate and international regulators to develop effective working relationships.

- Demonstrated application of functional and technical knowledge and skills in one or more of the following areas - auditing, corporate governance, accounting, regulatory compliance - to achieve the objectives of high functioning audit operations.
