REGISTERED NURSE
Permanent Full time, Part Time and Casual positions available. We work a 7 day roster with morning, day, afternoon and night shifts offered. Please note applicants must be prepared to work night shifts as part of a rotating roster.
Starting salary for permanent staff at RN Level 1 $42.85 up to RN Level 5 $53.37 + penalties + superannuation (based on experience and qualifications).

Inasmuch Community Ltd is a modern, innovative, well-established not-for-profit aged care facility located in the beautiful coastal town of Sussex Inlet on the NSW South Coast.
Our lovely facility consists of a 52-bed low care facility and a 30 bed High care facility. Our Management & Staff are committed to ensuring all our residents receive the highest standard of care with both medical and personal needs considered. WHAT YOUR NEW ROLE LOOKS LIKE
Our Registered Nurses are responsible for providing evidence-based nursing care for our residents in accordance with the care plan developed in collaboration with the resident, their GP, and the Allied Health Care Team.
As a Registered Nurse you will develop and maintain effective relationships with our residents, their families/carers and their Allied Health Care Team. You will work alongside and support the care team to ensure that care is delivered within a team member’s scope of practice, is evidence based and is safe and of high quality in line with our policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Tertiary qualifications in Nursing at a bachelor level or higher.
- Registration with the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Board (AHPRA)
PREFERRED
- Relevant post graduate training or education in aged care or acute medical care.
- Experience in providing aged, general, and urgent nursing care.
- Contemporary generalist nursing knowledge and experience.

- Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion.
- Ability to use judgement, initiative and common sense when performing duties.
- Strong organisational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritise multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail.
- Emotional maturity.
- Highly resourceful team-player with the ability to also be extremely effective independently. Forward looking thinker who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions.
- Ability to demonstrate initiative and creativity.
- Commitment to and willingness to participate in continuous training and education.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with the ability to utilise a range of software applications.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders including team members, residents, and other medical professionals.
- Understanding of living and working within a small regional community.
- Solid understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards and principles, ANACC and other aged care related legislation.
