About the role

We are seeking a Tax and Business Services Accountant - Supervisor to join our team at Paragon Consultants in Nedlands. This is a full-time position offering opportunities for career progression and professional development.

What you'll be doing

Preparation / review of tax returns and financial statements for individual, corporate clients and self managed superannuation funds.

Preparation / review of BAS, IAS and FBT returns for lodgement with the Australian Taxation Office.

Providing strategic tax planning advice to clients

Conducting tax research and analysis to ensure compliance with relevant legislation, and sharing knowledge with the team

Regularly communicating with clients to ensure they are serviced proactively.

What we're looking for

Minimum 5 years of experience in a tax accounting role

Strong technical knowledge of Australian taxation laws and regulations

Proficient in the use of tax preparation software and accounting systems

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong communication and client relationship management skills

Tertiary qualification in Accounting or a related field

CPA or CA qualification preferred or working toward
