About the role

This is a full-time role located in Sunshine, VIC, as a Contracts Administrator / Quantity Surveyor at DMZ Group Pty Ltd. In this pivotal position, you will be responsible for overseeing the administration and financial management of contracts, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

What you'll be doing

Preparing, reviewing and negotiating contracts, subcontractor agreements and other relevant legal documents

Monitoring contract compliance and identifying potential risks or issues

Performing quantity surveying duties, including cost estimation, project budgeting and financial reporting

Liaising with clients, subcontractors and internal stakeholders to resolve contractual and financial matters

Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to contracts and project finances

Supporting the tendering process by preparing cost estimates and tender submissions

Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing efficient contract management practices

What we're looking for

Relevant qualification in construction preferable civil engineering back ground

8+ years of experience in a construction industry and quantity surveying.

Around 5 year experience in contract administration in related field.

Extensive knowledge of construction contracts, subcontractor agreements and relevant legislation

Proficient in cost estimation, project budgeting, and financial reporting

Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to liaise effectively with diverse stakeholders

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve contractual and financial issues

Proficient in using relevant contract management software and construction industry tools
