The Package: $40.51 – $44.77 per hour + 11.5% super. (Evaluated as Grade 6 of the QPRC Salary System 2024) and a guaranteed increase of 3% in 2025-26, plus potential performance-based progression.

In this role you will:

Operate waste facilities and equipment, drive and maintain Council vehicles, and assist at the Buy Back Centre.

Assist customers in person, by phone, and via email while handling transactions and record-keeping.

Follow HSEQ standards to ensure a safe, efficient, and positive work environment.

We are looking for someone who:

Demonstrates skills in operating and maintaining plant equipment, including driving and maintaining a heavy vehicle as required.

Accurately handles cash and EFTPOS transactions, and can perform banking tasks.

Delivers excellent service, provides clear written and verbal communication, and navigates digital tools with ease.
