As an Excavator and Dozer operator, you will play a crucial role in our general waste recycling operations. Your primary responsibilities will include the safe and efficient operation of excavator machinery to handle and process general waste materials. You will be responsible for sorting and moving products within our yard while adhering to strict safety and environmental guidelines.

We are currently seeking a dedicated and motivated Scrap Processing and Handling Associates to join our team. This position offers an ongoing role with the potential for permanent employment with the client.

Key Responsibilities:

Excavator Operation: Operate excavator machinery to handle and process general waste efficiently and safely.

Safety: Maintain a strong commitment to safety by following company policies and procedures, conducting routine equipment inspections, and reporting any safety concerns immediately.

Environmental Responsibility: Ensure that all recycling activities are carried out in accordance with environmental regulations and best practices.

Training: Participate in in-house training programs to enhance your skills and knowledge of our operations and machinery.

1. Dozer Operation: Operate Dozers to sort and move rubbish, flatten and load into trucks.
2. Sorting and Moving: Sort and move Rubbish within the yard, ensuring proper organisation and stacking.

Profile

Successful candidates will have the following:

Excavator Experience: Previous experience operating excavator machinery is preferred.

Excavator Ticket: Possession of a valid excavator operator ticket or certification is a plus, but not a requirement.

Safety Conscious: Strong commitment to safety practices and the ability to identify and address potential hazards.

Team Player: Excellent teamwork and communication skills to work effectively with colleagues in a fast-paced environment.

Job Offer

Successful candidates in these positions will receive the following:

• Contract: Ongoing role with opportunity to go perm
• Shifts: Mon - Fri 12 - 12 hour days, 6am start
• Pay: $41.92
• Overtime available
• In-House Training Provided
• Excavator Ticket/Experience Preferred

• Must be willing to float between rocklea and northgate sites
