My client, a well-regarded D&C HVAC contractor working across the Melbourne market have asked me to assist them in the appointment of a BIM Manager to look after their in-house team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain 3D BIM models of HVAC systems using Autodesk Revit.
  
  
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to integrate HVAC designs into overall project models.
  
  
• Prepare detailed drawings and coordination models in compliance with project specifications and standards.
  
  
• Conduct clash detection and resolve conflicts within multi-discipline models.
  
  
• Ensure the accuracy and quality of HVAC models and associated documentation.
  
  
• Assist with project coordination and support the production of construction documents.
  
  
• Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging technologies in BIM and HVAC systems.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an HVAC BIM Modeller or similar role, ideally in the D&C Contractor space.
  
  
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and BIM software.
  
  
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, building services, and MEP coordination.
  
  
• Understanding of building codes and standards.
  
  
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  
  
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  
  
• Relevant qualifications in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or a related field are preferred.
• Previous management experience
