About the role

As the General Manager of this exceptional brand taking the industry by storm, you will play a pivotal role in driving the strategic growth and expansion of the cbusiness.

Reporting directly to the CEO & Founder, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the business, including operations, product development, and finance. This is a full-time, on-site position based in head office in Melbourne.

What you'll be doing

Develop and implement strategic plans to grow the business, including identifying new product opportunities, expanding into new markets, and enhancing the customer experience

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the business, including managing budgets/financials, optimising supply chains, and ensuring efficient workflow

Lead and motivate a talented team providing mentorship and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive synergies and align the business with the overall company strategy

Analyse market trends, monitor competitor activity, and make data-driven decisions to maintain the company's competitive edge

Represent the brand industry events, conferences, and client meetings, enhancing the company's brand and reputation

What we're looking for

Proven track record of success in a General Manager or equivalent leadership role within the beauty/cosmetics or fashion retail industry

Extensive knowledge of the market, including trends, consumer behaviour, and industry best practices

Strong business acumen and financial management skills, with the ability to drive profitability and operational efficiency

Excellent people management skills, with the ability to build and lead high-performing teams

Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
