Job brief

We are looking for a talented and competitive Inside Sales Representative that thrives in a fast-paced dynamic environment, driving sales across our diverse and extensive product ranges.

Responsibilities
  • Be the first point of contact via phone and on-line inquiries
  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
  • Understand customer needs and requirements
  • Process sales orders, quotations and follow up on backorders
  • Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure to increase sales potential
  • Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
  • Team with channel partners and build relationships
  • Follow up on orders and managing customer relationships
  • Liaise with all office and warehouse staff
  • Ensure that work is completed to meet set deadlines
  • Accurately enter customer information into internal database
  • Work in-line with set policies and guidelines
  • Handle a high-volume of inbound calls, ensuring customer satisfaction levels are met

  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Negotiation, relationship building skills
  • Ability to discuss issues with customers and solve problems
  • Ability to work with people of all walks of life
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent verbal, written communication and troubleshooting skills
  • Good computer skills

Requirements

  • Proven inside sales experience
  • Strong phone presence and experience dealing with dozens of calls per day along with a busy trade counter will be a plus
  • Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong listening and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Excellent phone manner and customer service skills
  • Fibre optic or general networking knowledge preferred but not essential
