Electrical Industry Trainers play a vital role in ensuring all aspiring licensed electrical workers have the appropriate skills and knowledge to produce quality work in a manner which protects work mates, the community and the tradesperson.
Developing the knowledge and capabilities of aspiring Licensed electrical workers is meaningful work which will help meet Victoria’s and indeed, Australia’s significant demand for a skilled energy workforce well into the future.

About Us
Future Energy Skills is an Energy Safe Victoria (ESV) approved and trusted assessment organisation and is Victoria’s clearly leading assessment provider. In various brand iterations, Future Energy Skills (FES) has performed assessments for over 32 years and is a secure, financially sound business backed by Australian parent organisations with a combined history of service of over 200+ years in Australia. It has an excellent reputation and track record and is on the threshold of significant, planned expansion to meet demand for its assessment, training, and advisory services.
The Role
To meet the demand for its training services, Future Energy Skills requires additional suitably qualified, and motivated individuals to join its established, respected, and supportive team of Electrical Industry Trainers.
Working within the established FES processes, framework, resources, and support of the Training team colleagues, you will work with a high degree of autonomy. Your responsibilities will include preparation and conduct of training to a high standard which requires sound knowledge, time management, decision making abilities, while exercising an appropriate degree of insight and balanced judgement.
In addition, you will engage with ESV and the energy industry to assist in the development, moderation, and validation of training resources.
About You
If you have reached that point in your own electrotechnology/energy career were sharing your knowledge, experience, and desire to help aspiring licensed electrical workers progress in their career to become fully qualified and licensed tradespersons, in a value driven and growing enterprise, we would like to hear from you. You will need to hold an A class Electrical license and a current driver’s license and access to a vehicle. The completion of a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment or Foundation Skill set (TAESS00021) is desired or a willingness to undertake.
The positions available are casual and include weekend work. The base salary is competitive, and superannuation (13%) is paid. Future career options are excellent for motivated and talented individuals.
