Kessner Trailers is currently seeking Welders / Fabricators to join our expanding Team. This role is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Welder / Fabricator interested in working in a fast-paced production environment.

Position Duties

Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.

Assemble trailers and trailer parts accurately, ensuring quality standards are met.

Perform welding tasks to assemble trailers.

Safely operate tools, welding equipment, and assembly machinery.

Assist with general workshop duties as needed.

Work collaboratively with the team to meet production deadlines.

Resolve welding or assembly issues effectively, applying problem-solving skills and technical knowledge to overcome challenges.

Ensure all work complies with workplace safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.

Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient workspace to support safe and effective operations.

About You

Competent intermediate welding experience (trade qualification not essential, but preferable).

Minimum 1 year experience in a fabrication environment working with steel and aluminium.

Relevant MIG welding experience.

Current forklift licence (preferred but not essential).

A strong work ethic and a high attention to detail.

The ability to work independently and part of a team.

Thorough safety knowledge.

Punctual with a good attendance record.

The Role

38 hours per week (overtime available).

Monday – Friday, 8.00am - 4.06pm.

Designated bay, self-storage for all tools.

Work Site – Kessner Trailers Workshop.

Immediate start available.
