About the role

We are seeking a skilled Light Fabricator, Welder & Modifications specialist to join our team at Containers Options Pty Ltd in Strathfield South, NSW. This is a full-time position that will see you play a crucial role in maintaining and modifying our fleet of shipping containers to the highest standard.

What you'll be doing

Performing light fabrication and welding tasks to repair and modify shipping containers

Ensuring all work is completed to company and industry standards

Interpreting technical drawings and diagrams to carry out complex modifications

Performing routine maintenance and repairs on containers

Collaborating with the broader Operations team to meet strict delivery timelines

Maintaining a safe and organised work environment at all times

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a Welder or Light Fabricator, ideally within the shipping container industry

Strong welding and fabrication skills, with the ability to read and interpret technical plans

Knowledge of container repair and modification processes and techniques

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work

Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Forklift licence or the ability to obtain one
