About The Role:

Tiffany’s Maleny is searching for an experienced property caretaker & maintenance team member! Join the amazing Tiffany’s team & work with wedding industry professionals as you maintain & prepare the iconic Tiffany’s Maleny venue for weddings, functions & events!

Hosting over 150 weddings, functions & events each year, Tiffany’s Maleny offers the right candidate a great opportunity to set up & maintain our beautiful Queenslander style property & surrounds.

Tiffany's Maleny is offering an immediate start for a Part Time role from Wednesday to Saturday. A Full Time role is available for the perfect candidate based on experience & availability.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up of all venue areas ready for weddings & events:

o Blowing of outdoor areas

o High pressure cleaning of building & outdoor areas

o Setup wedding/event specific equipment

o Moving of tables & chairs dependent on wedding/event setup requirements

o Rotation of bins

General building maintenance including but not limited to:

o Basic repairs

o Plumbing

o Landscaping & Gardening

o Regular inspection of facilities & equipment

o Regular cleaning of air conditioning units & other safety equipment

o Painting

o Performing basic carpentry tasks

Maintain a tidy work storage area

Communicate & assist venue guests to a high professional standard

Stock & equipment organisation & rotation

General cleaning of bathrooms & public areas of venue

Garden care & maintenance of foliage supply areas

Your Skills & Experience:

Previous experience in general maintenance & repairs highly regarded

Experience in working autonomously on tasks

Previous experience in working on a supplied job list

Excellent communication & engagement skills

Proven track record of being punctual, reliable & work at a high standard

Proven track record of following OH&S procedures

Physically fit & able to lift & carry large/heavy objects safely

Ability to use/handle hand & power tools safely

Part Time Role (25-30 hours) OR full time role (38 hours) for the right candidate!

4 Weeks annual leave with 17.5% leave loading
