We are seeking a motivated and forward-thinking Engineer who has operational and design experience to join our team at our Manufacturing Facility in a full-time, permanent position. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious engineer looking to take their career to the next level, gain hands-on experience, and develop industry-relevant skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, you will play a key role in the development, execution, and support in manufacturing and new capital engineering projects and upgrades.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Driving the capital works, cost estimation and management from planning to execution.
• Producing accurate engineering advice to drawings that meet Australian Standards and regulatory requirements.
• Managing the plant maintenance and upgrades inhouse from design to purchasing to installation.
• Delivering engineering solutions across a variety of disciplines across factory and plant layouts and machinery.
• Providing engineering supervision, expertise, and support to the leadership team.
• Collaborating with department heads and supervisors to ensure seamless project integration and execution.

What we SEEK.

We're seeking an innovative and driven engineer who thrives in a hands-on, project and manufacturing environment.

• Working experience in production, manufacturing and project management in a technical engineering role.
• Strong knowledge of industrial/manufacturing plants with production and in high-risk environments.
• Hands-on experience with design and software across AutoCAD, Inventor, 3D Modelling, and FEA.
• Proficiency in Project Management software and SAP CMMS.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse workgroups.
• Solid understanding and application of Workplace Health & Safety regulations.
• Experience with project development and management processes.

Qualifications

• Tertiary Qualification in Engineering in Engineering with Design capability and expertise.
• Experience across facilities with electrical, structural, mechanical, civil, or high-risk plant design relevant to industrial operations.
• Manufacturing and or Production knowledge and workings will be highly advantageous
• Working engineering licence highly desirable.
