About the role

We are seeking a skilled Fence and Gate Fabricator to join our team at Genius Fencing & Metal Works Pty Ltd in Deer Park, VIC. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for the fabrication and assembly of high-quality fences and gates to meet the demands of our residential and commercial clients. As an integral part of our growing business, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional products and services.

What you'll be doing

Accurately measure, cut, and weld steel and other metal components to create fences and gates to precise specifications

Assist with the assembly and installation of fencing and gate products

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and tools

Collaborate with the team to ensure on-time delivery of projects

Maintain a clean and organised work environment

Adhere to all health and safety protocols

What we're looking for

Demonstrated experience as a Fence and Gate Fabricator or similar role in the trades and services industry

Strong proficiency in welding, cutting, and metal fabrication techniques

Mandarin speaking is necessary

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

Problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Strong communication and teamwork skills

A forklift license and experience operating machinery would be highly regarded
