We are currently seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Photographic Salespersons to join our team on either a casual or part-time basis. Position: Retail Photographic Salesperson (Casual / Part-Time)

Location: The New Camera House, Lismore, Nsw.

Responsibilities:

Welcome and assist customers with their photographic needs, providing exceptional customer service and product advice.

Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of various camera brands, models, lenses, and accessories to help customers make informed purchasing decisions.

Upsell additional products, accessories, and services to enhance the customer's photographic experience and increase sales.

Maintain accurate inventory levels, restock shelves, and ensure the store is visually appealing and well-organised.

Process sales transactions efficiently and handle payments using the point-of-sale system.

Provide troubleshooting support to customers for technical issues related to photographic equipment.

Follow up with customers after purchases to offer after-sales support and address any concerns or questions they may have.

Conduct product demonstrations and workshops to showcase the features and capabilities of different cameras and accessories.

Participate in promotional activities and events to attract customers and generate interest in the store's products.

Requirements:

Previous experience in retail sales, preferably in a photographic or electronics-related environment, is advantageous.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanour.

Passion for photography and a good understanding of various camera brands, models, and features.

Strong sales and upselling abilities with a focus on achieving sales targets.

Knowledge of photography techniques and equipment troubleshooting is a plus.

Flexibility to work on a casual part-time basis, with availability on rotating Saturdays and some weekdays.

Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
