About the Role

We’re Mint Landscapes, a small, family-style team based in Craigie, providing top-quality residential garden and lawn maintenance around Scarborough and surrounding suburbs.

We’re looking for someone with solid gardening and lawn care experience who’s ready to take ownership of their run, keep things running smoothly day-to-day, and help train new crew members as the team grows.

You’ll meet at our Craigie HQ at 6:30am, load up the truck, and head out with the crew — finishing by 3:00pm most days. The work is mostly regular maintenance, with the occasional soft landscaping job.

What You’ll Be Doing

Residential lawn care — rotary & cylinder mowing, edging, blowing

Residential garden maintenance — hedging, shaping, weeding, fertilising

Reticulation — basic testing and minor fixes (e.g. blocked nozzles)

Herbicide and fertiliser application (spray ticket required)

Leading the crew and training new team members as needed

Soft landscaping — turf, planting, edging, steppers, trellis (training provided as needed)

Using ServiceM8 to manage schedules and write job notes

Contributing ideas and having a voice in how we do things

What You’ll Need

Strong experience in residential garden and lawn maintenance

Confident using tools — hedgers, blowers, mowers, snippers, edgers

Spray ticket

Manual driver’s licence

Basic reticulation skills

Ability to lead a small team and keep things moving

Confident writing job notes on a phone or tablet (we use ServiceM8)

A good attitude and pride in your work

Bonus Points If You Have

MR truck licence

Chainsaw experience

Tool maintenance skills (e.g. sharpening blades)

Soft landscaping experience (planting, turf, edging)
