Nelson Bay Tile Co has an exciting position available in our Sales Team at the Taylors Beach Tile Showroom - providing hands on sales & service to our clients.

We have been supplying tile products to Builders, Tilers and renovators for over 45 years in the Bay & pride ourselves on our collaborative approach to sales and service.

We are looking for one full time and one part time candidate to be part of our growing team

With lots of on-the-job training, an immediate start available and No Sunday shifts, No night shifts and No Public Holiday work - this could be the change you've been looking for!

THE ROLE -

Work days are Monday to Friday with alternating half-day Saturday shifts. There will be overtime opportunities and some shift flexibility.

The focus of the role is to carry out instore tile selections with Homeowners, Builders & Renovators - providing face to face and over the phone advice and direction to help select the right colour and style of tiles for their projects.

The role includes all aspects of the sale process - including receipting payments & completing stock checks.

We provide lots of on-the-job training in a collaborative team environment.

OUR BEST FIT -

We are looking for someone with a great attitude who is keen to be part of a team, is outgoing and has experience in customer facing roles in retail, trade or hospitality.

We are after someone with an eye for colour and practical design - along with great communication & interpersonal skills.

A background in selling building industry products or a passion for interior design would be a definite advantage in this role.
