About the Role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-focused Safety Coordinator to join a committed team in a permanent part-time capacity— 4 days per week, 9:00am to 3:30pm.

You will support the Construction Manager, Project Managers, and Electrical Field Team, completing onsite audits, helping ensure compliance, reduce risk, and promote a positive safety culture across the business.

About the Role:

Promote and support workplace health & safety initiatives

Conduct site audits and workplace inspections

Identify hazards and recommend risk controls

Ensure all PPE and safety protocols are being followed

Attend and contribute to toolbox talks, safety meetings, and inductions

Maintain the incident register and follow up on corrective actions

Assist with investigations and return-to-work planning

Support the review and implementation of OH&S procedures

Ensure compliance with current safety legislation and standards

Provide admin support to project teams as required

About You:

Certificate IV in WHS/OH&S (or working towards one) – highly regarded

3+ years’ experience in a similar HSEQ role

Strong understanding of safety documentation and compliance

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Proven people engagement skills with a high degree of tact, efficiency and professionalism

A proactive and supportive attitude towards safety and teamwork
