Our client is an independent family operated business specialising in immediate short-term finance solutions. They have significant expertise in structuring, tailoring and designing immediate financial solutions to meet the borrower's financial requirements.
Their unique independent business structure allows senior sales executives to make the inhouse credit decisions, alongside the directors. That means all decisions are made entirely in house from application right through to settlement, allowing the business to settle transactions in 24 hours if required.
The ideal candidate will be a senior professional who can leverage their extended network across Financial Services, Investment Banking, Accounting and Legal firms to drive strategic partnerships and generate growth. Working backwards from your customer's needs, offer tailored short-term lending solutions that enable Australian & New Zealand companies capitalize on their growth opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Leverage your extensive network in the industry to foster growth and proactively cultivate new clients
- Research, identify and build long-term strategic sales execution plans, owning the sales opportunity end-to-end
- Exceed sales pipeline targets through strategic partnerships

- Collaborate with the internal team to achieve the best results for their customers
Qualifications
- A well-established footprint as an experience business development manager with experience in finance and/or investment banking industry
- University Degree or Diploma in Finance, Business or Accounting (or other related field of study).
- Established networks with senior stakeholders across finance, investment banking, accounting and legal firms.
- Track record of driving sales through strategic partnerships.
- Professional and confident communicator with an ability to present relevant bespoke solutions to meet the prospective clients needs
- Proven experience developing strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed new business targets
- Experience managing the entire sales life cycle, from identifying opportunities, building sales strategy and nurturing client relationships with senior / C-suite level stakeholders
