ROLE EXPECTATIONS:
This is a key role in driving the growth and success of the business in the office furniture sector. Here’s what you can expect in this role:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand the company’s market share in office fit-outs across various industries.
- Identify and target key business sectors including corporate offices, commercial developments, education institutions, and healthcare facilities.
- Actively pursue new business opportunities, targeting architects, project managers, interior designers, and fit-out contractors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers in the corporate and commercial sectors.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions, promoting the brand and strengthening market presence.
- Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored office furniture solutions that enhance productivity and workspace aesthetics.
- Offer expert advice on furniture selection, ergonomics, design trends, and fit-out strategies.
- Ensure seamless project management from initial consultation to final delivery, overseeing timelines, budgets, and client satisfaction.
CANDIDATE EXPECTATIONS:
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in selling office furniture for fit-out projects, with a proven record of success in this field. You should meet the following qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales in office furniture industries (e.g., fit-outs, interior design, commercial furniture).
- Experience in selling office furniture for fit-out projects is a must.
- Demonstrated success in business development and sales growth within the office furniture sector.
- Strong knowledge of office furniture products, ergonomic solutions, and commercial fit-out trends.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a results-driven mindset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence key stakeholders and build strong client relationships.
- Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to manage complex sales cycles and close high-value contracts.
- Established network with key players in the commercial, corporate, and project management sectors is a plus.
