Fuse Recruitment are seeking experienced Electrical Trades Assistants for immediate starts in Greenacre. Day shift, Monday to Friday paying $38 p/hr.

These roles will start on Wednesday the 9th of April and continue until the Easter Break. There is a possibility for extension after Easter depending on the completion of works required for this project.

• 7am – 3:06 pm shift
• $38 p/hr + Super
• Daily overtime available after training completed
• No daily shift confirmation needed from the agency!

The Role: Trades Assistant
Attention to detail is key in this role. Products that are assembled incorrectly or marked / scratched become unusable.

This role will see you completing Manufacturing based work building and assembling Audio Visual equipment such as brackets and speakers, cabling systems and electrical wiring of components based in the Greenacre Head office.

Your main duties will involve:

• Assisting trades people in the Greenacre Manufacturing facility
• Assembling equipment
• Soldering of components
• Electrical component and wiring assembly
• Assisting cabling and wiring for hoists and equipment
• Building and assembling of Audio Visual equipment such as Brackets and wall mounts
• Electrical wiring and assembling of components
• Use of both hand and power tools
• Following and reading plans

Shift Available:
Day:

• 7am starts
• 3:06pm finishes
• Monday to Friday
• $38 p/hr + Super

The Candidate:
To be successful in obtaining this role you will have the following experience:

• Electrical Trades Assistant experience is a must
• Electrical component wiring and Assembly experience is a must
• Soldering experience
• Experience can be manufacturing facility or site based
• Must have a construction white card
• EWP ticket is advantageous
• Hand and power tool experience is a must
• Experience following and reading plans for assembling products
• Excellent attention to detail
• Previous experience in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent WHS knowledge
• Heavy lifting up to 20 kgs
• Must be able to commit to these roles in an ongoing capacity
