Trade Assistants – Ongoing Work Across the Gold Coast

JV Recruitment is seeking experienced Trade Assistants for multiple site locations across the Gold Coast. If you’re passionate about high-end residential construction and have the right experience, we want to hear from you! This is an exciting opportunity with the potential to go temp-to-perm, working closely with the site manager. If career progression is important to you, this is the right role. Please note, the position is set to start immediately, so we’re looking for candidates who can begin as soon as possible or within the next week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the construction of high-end residential properties from the ground up.
• Use key tools such as concrete cutters, hammer drills, jackhammers, and other maintenance equipment.
• Work on-site Monday to Friday, with the occasional Saturday shift as needed.
• Be able to work by yourself and get the job done.
• Must have own car and tools.

Key Skills & Requirements:

• Minimum 12 months of experience in construction or civil labouring.
• A current White Card (essential).
• Own reliable transport and tools (essential).
• Must be available to start immediately or within the next week.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and high standards.

Pay & Benefits:

• Hourly Rate: $40 per hour + 11.5% superannuation.
• Daily Travel Allowance: $21.95.
• Meal Allowance: Provided if working over 9.5 hours on a shift.
• Overtime Rates: Time and a half and double time.
