About the role

We are seeking an experienced Paediatric Speech Pathologist to join our dynamic allied health team at Seed to Sprout in Brisbane and the Gold Coast, QLD. This contract/casual/part-time role offers the flexibility to work around your schedule and commitments, supporting children and their families in a rewarding paediatric speech therapy environment.

New Graduates are also encouraged to apply! You will be supported through a 12 month New Grad program designed to support you in your transition into the profession. We aim to help you succeed, thrive and love your job as a speechie!

What you'll be doing

Conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments for children with a range of developmental and communication needs

Developing and implementing tailored intervention plans to help children improve their speech, language, and social communication skills

Collaborating closely with families, educators, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to each child's care

Providing parent/caregiver education and support to empower families to continue therapy strategies at home

Maintaining detailed clinical records and providing regular progress reports

Participating in team meetings and professional development opportunities to continually enhance your skills

What we're looking for

Degree in Speech Pathology and current SPA registration

Experience working as a Paediatric Speech Pathologist is desirable, with a strong understanding of child development and therapy best practices.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills, with a commitment to delivering the highest standard of evidence-based practice

Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, community-based environment

A passion for making a positive difference in the lives of children and their families
