AI Engineer

My market leading Superannuation client seeks an AI Engineer who will be responsible for developing and implementing AI Solutions to enhance their internal processes and custer-facing applications.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AI and Machine Learning, with experience in developing and deploying AI models in a production enviroment

Role Responsibilities:

• Develop AI Solutions: Design, build, and deploy AI models to solve business problems and enhance internal processes.
• Optimize and Monitor AI Models: Continuously improve the performance and accuracy of AI models and develop monitoring systems.
• Implement AI Best Practices: Ensure AI models adhere to best practices in scalability, reliability, maintainability, and information security standards.
• Use Case Workshopping and Prototyping: Facilitate workshops to identify AI use cases and develop prototypes.
• Cloud-Based AI Application Development: Leverage cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS to develop and deploy AI applications at scale.
• Large Language Model RAG and Fine-Tuning: Implement retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) techniques and fine-tune large language models.
• AI Agent Development: Develop and integrate AI agents into various applications for intelligent and autonomous decision-making.

Key skills and experiences:

• Proven experience in developing and deploying AI models in a production environment.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or Java.
• Experience with SQL in the context of data warehouses.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS.
• Familiarity with data engineering and big data technologies, including Snowflake.
• Certification in AI or machine learning is preferable.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements related to AI.
• Familiarity with AI technologies and their applications.
