An exciting opportunity for an experienced Sales Manager to join a leading, Australian-based IT Managed Services Provider with a clear path to a future Head of Sales position.

RMT is a fast-growing MSP with a strong regional presence, known for delivering cutting-edge IT solutions and exceptional client service as one of the few Telstra Platinum partners in Australia. We are looking to add an experienced Sales Manager to support our growth, based in our Townsville, QLD or Thornton, NSW office locations.

About the role:
As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing strategic sales initiatives, and managing client relationships. This role focuses on acquiring new customers, strengthening relationships with existing clients, refining sales processes, and ensuring sales strategies align with business objectives.
Key responsibilities include:
Developing and executing a sales strategy to drive revenue growth.
Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
Direct line managing of the sales and account management team.
Building and maintaining strong client relationships to ensure retention and account growth.
Collaborating with technical teams to scope and sell IT solutions.
Monitoring of market trends and refining of sales approaches accordingly.
About you:
5+ years’ experience in sales and/or business development.
Proven success in senior sales roles within the IT or technology sector.
Strong understanding of managed IT services, cloud solutions, and cybersecurity.
Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
Ability to build relationships with executives and decision-makers.
MSP experience.
