Key Responsibilities

Supervise and manage the construction of multiple residential projects across Adelaide.

Ensure all residential construction projects adhere to timelines, budgets, and approved documentation.

Liaise with private building inspectors, tradespeople and suppliers.

Monitor compliance with OHS&W requirements and other legislative standards.

Provide regular updates on project progress and attend weekly meetings with the construction team.

Introduce and manage new trades and suppliers while maintaining high-quality standards.

Foster strong relationships with clients, addressing concerns promptly and professionally.

To succeed in this role, you will have:

A trade qualification in the building industry and a Building Works Supervisor License in South Australia that includes capabilities for "Class 1 & 10 Residential Construction".

Proven experience supervising residential projects in South Australia.

The ability to read and interpret residential construction plans.

Strong knowledge of National Construction Code, Australian Standards, and construction methodologies.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

The ability to manage competing priorities and deliver under pressure.

A proactive, team-oriented attitude with a focus on quality and process improvement.

A current South Australian driver’s license.

The ability to identify defects or construction issues proactively and take necessary actions to rectify or prevent problems in an efficient manner.

Remuneration and Incentives

A market leading salary package of $140,000 to $150,000 per year, including superannuation, car allowance and phone
