The Opportunity

Due to our continued growth, Wexcon have an exciting opportunity for a suitably experienced Site Engineer to join our team. Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of 12 months experience working as a Site Engineer in the Civil Construction space with strong knowledge of FRP aspects.

The location of this project is considered regional for visa purposes.

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering or related field.

Minimum of six months experience in a Site Engineer role.

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Full working rights in Australia.

Full clean driving licence.

Excellent IT skills.

Willingness to learn new skills.

Strong focus on progression.

Self-motivated and punctual with excellent time management skills.

Excellent leadership, motivational and communication skills with an ability to build consensus and relationships among management, and employees.

Experience working to TfNSW B80, R82 & R83 will be highly advantageous.

Duties & Responsibilities

Managing allocated tasks.

Overseeing and supervising construction works.

Checking technical design to ensure conformance.

Temporary works management.

Assisting Snr. Management and Project Supervisor.

Effective programming of works.

Procurement of plant & materials.

Providing technical advice to trades.

Problem solving on site.

Liaising with client representatives and other stakeholders.

Preparing site reports, method statements, SWMS etc.

Checking material deliveries.

Preparing progress claims, variations and cost reports.

Attending weekly site meetings.

Management of onsite resources.

Contracts administration.

Site HSEQ Representative.

Implementation of company IMS.
