About the Opportunity We are seeking an Experienced Machinist for a Permanent Full-Time opportunity, based at our Bunbury Workshop. This is an exciting role that will offer diverse exposure to a wide range of heavy machinery components in a large state-of-the-art workshop.

About You

3+ Years Experience in a Similar Role

Australian Recognised Heavy Machinist Trade Certificate

Demonstrated CRN Machine Experience

Current High Risk Work Licence (Highly Regarded)

Demonstrated experience in machining and maintaining components for machinery such as CAT, Liebherr, Hitachi and Komatsu

Display a clear commitment and focus on the health, safety, and well-being of all employees

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Hold a valid Australian Drivers Licence

Willingness to undertake a Pre-Employment Medical & Drug/Alcohol Screen

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain precision machining equipment, such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders

Fabricate and repair components to exact specifications using technical drawings and measurements

Conduct inspections to ensure the quality and accuracy of machined parts

Perform routine maintenance and adjustments on machinery to ensure optimal performance

Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely

Maintain detailed records of machining processes, repairs, and tests performed

Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment

Ability to meet deadlines whilst maintaining a strong approach to safety
