A new role has become available with a leading manufacturer of Precast concrete products for a hardworking individual who isn't afraid of hands on work and getting a little dirty. Randstad is looking for Precast Labourers for a quick start at a Concrete Precast Yard in Central Tamworth.

You will be working with a fantastic long standing team to produce a variety of made to order products that could be anything from a whole building, bridge, pipes, tunnel etc, all made on site to be delivered to the project and put together like a jigsaw puzzle. Taking the building industry by storm Precast isn't the future of building, it is the now of building.

This is an ongoing role with plenty of overtime on offer for the right person. We are seeking dedicated individuals who are ready to tackle exciting work in a dynamic environment. One role would suit someone looking to build a new career who is technologically literate and the other someone with applicable experience in civil work, precast or concreting.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the production of concrete precast elements: Moulds, steel fixing, welding, pouring, finishing.
• Manual lifting and carrying of heavy materials.
• Operating machinery under supervision.
• Ensuring adherence to safety protocols at all times.
• Maintaining a clean and organised work environment.
• Reo Welding (Training provided if not experienced)

About the roles Precast labourer:

• Monday to Friday Day shift, with Saturday work available.
• General shift times are 5am to 1:30pm - Finish early and still have time for golf!
• Pay rate $35/hour + penalties (Occasional overtime)
• Meal allowances after 1.5 hrs overtime
• The client is willing to train and up skill suitable people
• Temp - perm opportunity

About you:

• Ideally you will have some sort of construction and hand tool experience
• Ideally have good mechanical skills
• C Class Drivers licence and reliable transport
• White Card (Essential)
• Physically fit and capable of handling heavy lifting. (No formal qualification required)
• Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team.
• Commitment to workplace safety procedures.
• Be able to pass a full medical and drug and alcohol
• Have full working rights in Australia
