With an ambitious 5 year plan in place to grow their three (3) offices, this is a key hire to join an existing team of 6 bookkeepers. Long term, there is a tangible, achievable outlook for this role to progress into a bookkeeping management position overseeing the Brisbane team, and growing it further.
The role:
End to end Bookkeeping for a range of clients ranging in industry & size.
Banking, payroll, GST lodgment, general ledger reconciliations, PAYG reporting, invoicing, AP/AR and other typical bookkeeping duties.
Client contact from the office (phone & email).
Supervise, review, and assist a team of bookkeepers & junior staff.
Dealing with workflow, delegating work & providing guidance to your team.
Assisting accountants & processing client records.
Contribute to process & system improvements (this firm is always open to new ideas).

Key Competencies:
4+ years prior experience in public practice bookkeeping (highly desired)
Ability to handle competing priorities & deadlines.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to offer alternative solutions.
