About the role
Robinvale District Health Services' is seeking a passionate and experienced Health Promotion Officer to join our dynamic team in Robinvale, Victoria. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for planning, implementing and evaluating community-based health promotion initiatives to improve the overall health and wellbeing of the Robinvale community.
What you'll be doing
Develop and deliver tailored health promotion programs that address the unique needs of the Robinvale community
Collaborate with key stakeholders, including local government, community groups and other health services, to identify and respond to community health priorities
Design and implement effective health education and awareness campaigns to promote healthy behaviours and lifestyles
Monitor and evaluate the impact of health promotion activities, and use data to continuously improve program delivery
Contribute to the development of organisational health promotion strategies and policies
Provide expert advice and support to the broader health service team on health promotion best practices
What we're looking for
Tertiary qualification in a relevant field, such as health promotion, public health or community development
Demonstrated experience in designing, implementing and evaluating community-based health promotion programs
Strong understanding of the social determinants of health and a commitment to addressing health inequities
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build effective partnerships
Proficient in data analysis and utilising evidence to inform program planning and decision making
Proven project management skills, including the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Passion for improving the health and wellbeing of diverse communities

About Robinvale District Health Services
Robinvale District Health Services is a service (MPS) that provides a diverse range of services to across a catchment area of approximately 60,000 square kilometres. In addition to service delivery in its immediate area, RDHS provides outreach services to the communities of Ouyen, Manangatang and Boundary Bend in Victoria and Dareton, Wentworth and Balranald in New South Wales.
RDHS operates 20 acute beds, 54 residential aged care places, and provides Urgent Care services to both the Robinvale and Manangatang communities. A comprehensive range of additional services includes Renal Dialysis, Medical Imaging, Midwifery, Visiting Nursing, Allied Health and Early Years.
