Better kidney health 4 life!

Did you know that two million Australians are affected by kidney disease and that kidney failure rates have doubled in the past 20 years? As Australia’s leading kidney health charity, we are committed to changing the paradigm from kidney failure to kidney preservation so that more Australians can live longer, healthier lives.

Be part of our path to transformation as we embark on developing and delivering high impact health and wellbeing programs for people at all ages and stages of kidney disease, and their support network of families and carers.

How you can make a difference.

As part of our Community team, you will help deliver and coordinate the activities of our new Kidney Health 4 Life support program. If you have experience in health promotions and/or health program coordination and excellent written communication skills, then we would love to hear from you!

Key responsibilities

  • Assist in the delivery of the Kidney Health 4 Life program, including coordinating all aspects of user engagement from registration to program usage to ongoing engagement via email marketing campaigns
  • Responsibility for developing and implementing marketing and health promotion activities
  • Coordinating stakeholder involvement in program development
  • Contribute to the ongoing development and continuous improvement of Kidney Health Australia's community development initiatives
  • Coordinate the collection and analysis of program data to measure project progress and program impact.

What we're looking for

  • Demonstrated experience in community development or health promotion
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for diverse audiences
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and networking skills
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to plan, coordinate, and deliver programs effectively
  • Solid understanding of the community services and healthcare sectors, particularly in relation to chronic disease management and prevention
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field, such as health promotion, community development, or public health would be desirable.

What we offer
Apart from joining a fantastic cause that is passionate about better kidney health for all Australians, we also offer:

  • Generous salary packaging up to $15,900 and entertainment card
  • Certified Great Place to Work 2022 and 2023
  • EAP and social events
  • Access to training and development
  • An aspirational, caring and values-based team culture
  • Flexible work options - combination of work from home and mandatory office days
