Qualifications & Experience
Our Company is seeking a Junior Administration Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our office by providing administrative support and contributing to our team's efficiency, with the opportunity to undertake a traineeship and gain formal qualifications while working in a supportive environment.
The successful applicant must be passionate about a career in the residential construction industry and bring an enthusiastic and committed focus prepare contract documentation and permit applications as required.
Tasks & Responsibilities
Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and other enquiries professionally.
Manage data entry and maintain accurate databases.
Managing a portfolio of jobs and applying for, securing all relevant building and construction related documents, to ensure the timely achievement of a building permit.
Maintaining professional internal and external relationships with teams such as engineers, drafting, estimating, councils & contractors
Preparation of documents such as build contracts, progress reports & applications
Applying for & managing plumbing permits
The ability to prioritise workloads & meet deadlines
Other duties as required
Requirements:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
High attention to detail and accuracy
A proactive approach to problem-solving
Previous administrative experience is an advantage but not mandatory
