Broad role supporting the Accounting Manager in all areas including AR, AP, coding, payroll & profit & loss

9am to 5pm, Mon-Fri (on-site)

Currently in Botany & relocating to Kingsgrove early Jun (parking available in both locations)

This company is a well-established organisation with a reputation as a market leader within the local & global marketplace.

You will be part of a friendly supportive team, and you will be responsible for supporting the Accounting Manager in all areas including AR, AP, coding, payroll and profit & loss.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

Checking cash receipts (for AR banking)

Acquire & dispose Fixed Assets

Checking GL coding (for AP invoice entry)

Classifying Sales rep's expenses & preparing for payments

Cash flow & revenue reports

Checking AUD or FX payments

Payroll posting for PAYG or payroll

Superannuation calculations & posting

Maintaining the credit cards reconciliations

Maintaining the inter-company transactions spreadsheets

Payroll tax calculations, journals, payments

Foreign currency bank account rate adjustments

Calculating commissions + accrual journal

FBT expense accruals

Assisting as required with AP and other accounting functions

To secure this opportunity, you will have tertiary qualifications in accounting supported by several years of practical experience in an Assistant Accountant role; good communication & organisation skills; proficiency in MS Excel; experience using PRONTO (or similar ERP | Accounting system).
