THE ROLE

We are seeking experienced and qualified light and heavy fabricators to join our team to fill on site roles all across the Hunter Valley Region. These sites may include, but are not limited to, AGL, Dartbrook, Mt Pleasant, Mt Arthur and Bengalla, Wilpingjong. This role involves working on-site to fabricate, assemble, and install structural steel, piping and other metal components. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and metal fabrication, with a commitment to safety and precision.

WHAT WE OFFER

A competitive rate of pay - $57.50 + allowances ($2.50 Site allowance + 25% loading for night shifts and weekend work)

Uniform and PPE will be supplied.

All training and medical costs paid for

KEY RESPONSIBILTIES

Read and interpret technical drawings

Perform MIG, TIG, and Stock welding to ahigh standard

Ensure all work meets industry standards and safety regulations

Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on metal structures

Work efficiently in a team environment and communicate effectively

Adhere to all workplace health and safety requirements.

REQUIREMENTS

Relevant trade qualifications (Certificate of Proficiency in Engineering Fabrication and/or Certificate III in Engineering Fabrication)

Drivers Licence

Experience in both heavy and light fabrication.

Great time management and communication skills

Experience working on sites

Exceptional safety standards

COVID-19 Vaccination

Order 43 Coal Services Medical within a year old (Not Essential)

MDG25 (Not Essential)

Working at heights (Not Essential)

Confined Space (Not Essential)

Ability to read and interpret drawings.

Ability to work in a team.

Previous experience in similar role

Previously Inducted at Bengalla, Thiess Mt Pleasant, Mt Pleasant CHPP, AGL, Wilpingjong, Dartbrook (Not Essential)
