Studio Manager – Pilates & Yoga Studios (Full-Time, Melbourne VIC)
We are seeking a highly organised, driven, dynamic leader to join our team as a Studio Manager for our Pilates and Yoga studios in Melbourne. In this key role, you will oversee all aspects of studio operations, assist in managing a team of 25+ instructors, assist in coordinating class schedules across two locations, and ensuring exceptional experiences for our members. This is a full-time, operational management position (not an instructor role) suited for someone with strong team leadership and organisational skills who can foster a positive, community-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities
· Team Leadership & Staff Management: Lead, mentor, and support a team of over 25 instructors (Yoga and Pilates), fostering a culture of inclusivity, growth, and excellence. Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training, and regular performance check-ins for all teaching staff.

· Studio Operations (Multi-Site): Oversee daily operations at two studio locations, ensuring each facility is clean, safe, and well-maintained. Manage studio schedules, opening/closing procedures, inventory, and act as the first point of contact for operational issues or last-minute scheduling changes.

· Assist with Scheduling & Class Coordination: Assist Director with the studio class schedule and instructor rostering across both locations. Coordinate timetables to meet member demand, optimise class occupancy, and arrange instructor substitutes as needed.

· Customer Service & Membership Management: Ensure an exceptional, welcoming experience for all clients. Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and issues. Oversee membership sales and renewals, manage class bookings and waitlists, and address billing or account questions.

· Marketing & Community Engagement: Drive studio attendance and growth through local marketing and community initiatives. Manage the studios' digital presence – including social media, newsletters, and promotional campaigns. Organise events, challenges, or workshops.

· Digital Systems & Administration: Utilise studio software (e.g. MindBody) for scheduling, bookings, and client management. Maintain records of attendance, memberships, and finances. Handle administrative tasks such as reporting, payroll coordination, and ordering supplies.

· Business Development Support: Collaborate with owners and senior management on strategy and growth initiatives. Contribute ideas to improve studio processes and client experience. Support new program implementation.

Qualifications & Skills
· 2+ years of experience in studio or gym management, retail or hospitality management, or a related operational leadership role.

· Proven ability to manage large teams and multi-location operations.

· Strong leadership and staff development skills.

· Excellent organisational, multitasking, and time-management abilities.

· Outstanding customer service and communication skills.

· Proficiency with business and scheduling software (MindBody or similar).
